Our Review

The George Hotel offers you the chance to stay amid the Georgian splendour of Edinburgh’s New Town, yet still be close to Princes Street, the Castle and the Royal Mile. The hotel’s Grade II-listed façade has been impeccably preserved and inside there is a wonderful air of contemporary chic. The George Hotel does everything with style which is why it was voted Best Hotel in Edinburgh at the Scottish Hotel Awards 2011.

stylish accommodation... Our bedroom (357) was clean, comfortable and well furnished and equipped, but VERY noisy and caused us to have bad nights sleep... double glazed windows did not work. ... lovely room... Can be noisy if you overlook the service area ... Clean, modern bathrooms... Big bed, nice pillows... very noisy room ... Lovely rooms... couldn't be faulted.... Exec rooms to small.... lovely room with lots of space... Good clean rooms.... If you want air conditioned room you should request in advance ... Our room was at the back of the hotel and we did find the bottle emptying into the wheelie bin below our window noisy... No ventallation...
