The Old Waverley is a traditional-style hotel boasting a prime location on Princes Street, overlooking the Castle and public gardens, ideal for sightseeing and shopping. The guest rooms are elegant and traditional in style, equipped with standard facilities. Although there is a huge range of restaurants in the vicinity, the hotel's own dining room - with its oak wood fittings, cornicing and white pillars - has been notably popular with guests for breakfast and dinner. ** Please note this is a non smoking hotel. **

Room not as good as last couple of times we stayed, but hey thats a minor thing... room was quiet ... Rooms were clean and adequate... At back of hotel was noisy early morning due to the bins being emptied.... We had a beautiful room looking at the castle.... They didn't seem to go in for bath mats in the bathroom! ... disappointed in the position of our room overlooking a side alleyway opposite a high building.... clean and comfortable, though the room was a bit small ... Our room was dark,and stuffy air conditioning not working properly... Too noisy that i couldn't sleep the whole night! ... very comfortable room ... a good size... lovely big room ... great room ... a very decent size ... a lovely en-suite. ...
