Ideal place to stay....very central . The only downside was breakfast...at "Rik's". This was just yards away...not a problem in itself, but service VERY slow and both quality and quantity of breakfast VERY disappointing.

Top Tip:
Because of above comment I would suggest travellers just book "bed" only.... and breakfast at Cafe Rouge which is directly opposite hotel. Thus we avoided Rik's after our first morning and went to C. R. instead. No complaints there ! Castle well worth a visit. Tattoo EXCELLENT! Royal Yacht at Leith (£9 taxi ride ....12 mins away ) is a MUST.
